A representative brand that spread Korean culture to the world, “KOREAN CULTURE SCENE(KCULTURESCENE)” Korean culture event is introducing Korean culture in major global bases including Vietnam, England, Hong Kong, Hungary, Thailand, Belgium, etc.
KCULTURESCENE, which is held by Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) and Korean cultural centers in 6 countries, is running various Korean culture events and showing exhibitions and performances both online and offline. They’re also holding many different events.
In Belgium, “SOUND KOREA 2022” is held from September to December in Brussel and other major cities to showcase various kinds of Korean music, from Classic to Jazz, Gugak, and K-POP, inviting the locals to the world of diverse Korean music.
“SOUND KOREA 2022” Belgium runs in three categories, “Modern Sound”, “Traditional Sound”, and “Classical Sound”. K-POP girl group “Black Swan” performed on September 4th, “RE:SOUND KOREAN POP” by Park Hak-gi, Lee Eun-mi, Park Seung-hwa, Jeong Dong-ha, Ali, and Ham Chun-ho performed on the 14th, and “Leenalchi”, a creative gugak icon, performed successfully on the 16th. Plenty of performances are set to be carried out in October, November and December as well.
In October, world-class violinist “Clara-Jumi Kang” & pianist “Sunwook Kim”, and a jazz vocalist “Malo” will perform. In November, “Kim Joon-young” & Baudouin de Jear”, and “Ramhon Choi Jeong U” will perform. In December, concerts of “Kang Eun-il Haegeum Plus” and “Im Ji-young” & “Choi Ha-young”, the winners of Queen Elisabeth Competition will continue to be held.
Also, the K-breaking & traditional gugak tour, which is running as a part of the KCULTURESCENE, and an interactive exhibition to show how K-POP changed will be held as well.
